Hoyle Nursery by DSDHA was featured in Architects Journal in 2004
A competition-winning remodelling and extension to an existing nursery in Bury, Lancashire, this project has created a new street frontage, raised the roof 800mm above the existing walls with clerestory windows to create spaces with daylight and centred the building around a small open aired courtyard garden.

Maggie’s Centre by Hawkins/Brown was featured in Architect’s Journal in 2003
This scheme transformed an early 20th century villa with the addition of a new two storey extension. The kitchen is separated from the upper garden by a twin wall of translucent polycarbonate, screen printed with a pattern designed to evoke sunlight falling through trees
